MINUTES FOR 2/26/97 CLUB MEETING
The meeting started at 11:35 A.M.. Jennifer Davis volunteered to be the Sgt. At Arms. We had the International Speech and Evaluation Contest today. The Master of Ceremony (MC) was Bill Pullen. The Chief Judge (CJ) was Carolyn Ng. Barry Sherman gave a Model Speech. Maureen Armbruster and Regina Code competed for the Evaluation Contest.There were three prepared speeches : Dan Mandl talked about "Chocolate Chips and Green Things"; Jeff Bolognese talked about "Peer Pressure"; and Pat Greco shared about "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow".
Since today was the speech and evaluation contest, every participant was the judge. The Time Keepers were Chris Scherer and Angela Upshur. The Ballot Counter was Paul McCeney.
The best evaluator was Regina Code. The best speaker was Jeff Bolognese, and Pat Greco was the runner up. They will represent our club for the area contest on Friday, March 14, 1997.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:00 P.M..
