MINUTES FOR THE 9/25/96 CLUB MEETING

The meeting started on time at 11:30 A.M.. The Toastmaster of the Day was Kristen Lewis. We had three prepared speeches : "Conflicts are inevitable " by Angie Upshur; "Today is my Birthday" Impromptu Speech by Tex Baird; and "From Mexico to Greenbelt" by Herman Gillardo. The Table Topics Master was Chris Scherer.

The three Table Topics contestants were : "National Politics" by Martha O'Bryan; "Autumn Plan" by Michael Parrish; and "What kind of world will we experience in 70 years ?" by Jeff Bolognese. The General Evaluator was Bill Pullen. Bob Grigsby evaluated Angie Upshur; Michael Parrish evaluated Tex Baird; and Oswin Findlay evaluated Herman Gillardo.

The Whisker Counter was Eva Illescas. The Time Keeper was Jeff Bolognese. Grammarian was Bill Pullen.

The best Table Topics contestants was Jeff Bolognese. The best evaluators were tied between Bob Grisby and Michael Parrish. And the best Speaker was Herman Gallardo. The meeting was adjourned at 12:55 P.M.
